Principal Application Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Bring-up and early validation of Wayve’s AI software stack on customer hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with Verification, Release, and OEM partners to ensure reliable delivery.
• Develop and deploy software for diverse SoCs and OSes (Linux-based, QNX, Adaptive AUTOSAR).
• Integrate drivers, middleware, and boot-time configurations.
• Work with OEM/Tier 1 teams to resolve hardware-specific issues.
• Implement system diagnostics, logging, and secure boot configuration.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in embedded or automotive software, with platform bring-up experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Bash, Python; strong Linux embedded (Yocto, systemd, bootloaders, device
• Familiarity with QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR; experience with automotive-grade SoCs (NVIDIA Orin
• Experience with hardware debuggers, flashing tools, serial consoles, BSPs.
• CAN, Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, I2C; CI/CD and test automation experience.
