Principal Backend Architect / Engineer (C#/.NET, Azure)

📋 Description

• Define backend architecture across products and lead the incremental decomposition and migration of
• Establish and enforce backend engineering standards, shared libraries, service templates, API
• Design and guide event-driven architectures using Azure Service Bus, including delivery guarantees
• Partner closely with the Data Architect on transactional boundaries, data-access models, query
• Lead by example in the daily use of agentic AI development tools and help elevate the team's
• Create Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), conduct reviews of critical pull requests, mentor

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of backend development or software engineering experience, including several years in
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET with strong hands-on experience working with Azure, particularly Azure
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Snowflake, as well as CI/CD and DevOps
• Demonstrated experience incrementally migrating or decomposing monolithic applications, favoring
• Strong understanding of asynchronous messaging, event-driven systems, idempotency, dead-lettering
• Daily, hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools, such as Claude, Claude Code, or
