Principal Backend Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Define backend infra vision for developer platform and APIs; guide team
• Design, build and maintain scalable, reliable infrastructure, APIs, services
• Lead system design discussions, stand-ups, code reviews
• Develop best practices for backend infra: high throughput, reliability, low latency
• Debug production issues across services and stack
• Collaborate with engineers, tech leads, product managers, and designers

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience designing, building, and scaling core backend components (APIs a plus)
• Production experience with Java, Golang, or C++
• Experience with Cloud Native environments, especially AWS
• Experience with managed Kubernetes layers like AWS EKS is a plus
