Principal Cloud Engineer

📋 Description

• Operate and extend existing OpenStack-based cloud services and contribute to deployment and
• Work with Software Platform, Datacentre Operations and Product Development teams to deploy services
• Hands-on technical role in cloud infrastructure, deployment via Infrastructure-as-Code
• Contribute to cloud integration, validation, performance benchmarking and optimisation of
• Provide end-user and internal support for cloud-based services and private/public clouds.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant subject.
• Solid background in cloud infrastructure, deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code, observability
• Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu/RHEL equivalents) and scripting (bash, Python).
• Expert-level Linux and cloud tooling experience; automation with Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman, Apptainer) and container
• Experience with OpenStack deployments or related technologies (Ceph, OpenVSwitch, KVM, QEMU).
