Principal Cloud Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and enforce policy-as-code standards across cloud accounts
• Establish guardrails using OPA, Sentinel, AWS Config/Service Control Policies
• Embed cost governance into provisioning workflows
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code standards (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi)
• Automate environment provisioning, drift detection, lifecycle management
• Develop golden paths for infrastructure provisioning and service deployment

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering at principal/staff level
• Deep experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Pulumi at scale
• Direct experience implementing policy-as-code and cloud governance
• Experience with cost management/FinOps practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD, container registries, observability tooling
