Principal Cloud Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and drive cloud security principles, standards, and architectures.
• Partner with DevOps/CI/CD to embed security in cloud infrastructure.
• Scale security and make trade-offs for secure, innovative solutions.
• Help engineers build and securely operate products from the ground up.
• Embed shift-left security practices across the SDLC.
• Implement and manage cloud and Kubernetes security tooling to reduce risk.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience with AWS and AWS security services (IAM, Config, KMS).
• Experience shifting security left with engineering teams.
• Infrastructure as code: AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform; GitLab CI.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and containers (Docker, AWS ECS).
• Knowledge of networking: TCP/IP, TLS, VPN.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or similar; familiarity with AI tools/LLMs.
