Principal Customer Engineer (Openstack, Kubernetes)

📋 Description

• Own the technical relationship with 5–8 strategic customers (MOSK, MKE, k0rdent).
• Build deep knowledge of each customer's architecture and use cases.
• Drive product integration to expand Mirantis usage into new workloads and teams.
• Lead alignment between customer engineering and Mirantis Product/Engineering.
• Run regular cadences: architecture reviews, upgrade planning, health checks.
• Partner with Support on high-impact cases to accelerate resolution.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Demonstrable track record owning tech relationships with large enterprise customers.
• Expert-level Kubernetes operating knowledge (lifecycle, networking, storage, security).
• Strong Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Strong OpenStack core services experience (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, Glance).
• Hands-on Neutron networking (OVS/OVN, VLAN, VXLAN) and travel (20–30%).
