Principal Data Analyst

📋 Description

• Own data sourcing, cleaning, and quality assurance, and set the validation standards the team uses
• Design, build, and maintain reporting, dashboard, and benchmarking tools, and set visualization
• Present findings and recommendations to customer and internal leadership, supporting pre-sales
• Partner with Data Scientists and Process Improvement Consultants on methodology, project scoping
• Mentor analysts, review their work for accuracy and quality, and help build repeatable analytic

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Health Sciences; Master’s degree
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, focusing on hospital quality measurement
• Hands-on experience with one or more national quality rankings programs (CMS Star Ratings, USNWR
• Experience working with Medicare claims (MedPAR, SAF) and CMS public reporting data (Care Compare
• Demonstrated experience leading analytic projects end-to-end and presenting findings to senior
