Principal Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Owns organization-wide data architecture and standards.
• Designs and develops data pipelines and platform features.
• Builds data APIs and ingestion systems for high-volume data.
• Sets data architecture strategy across the platform.
• Partners with product/engineering on data quality and testing.
• Designs IoT data ingestion and real-time distribution for expanding device fleet.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years data engineering or software development experience.
• 2+ years providing architectural direction to engineering teams.
• Experience setting data architecture standards across multiple teams.
• Bachelor of Science in CS, Data Eng, or equivalent.
• Substantial experience with SQL; NoSQL a plus.
• Python for data engineering workflows; Node.js a plus.
