📋 Description

• Drive technical direction for a major product domain aligned with goals.
• Design and maintain data pipelines powering AI systems and reports.
• Leverage AI tools to improve engineering workflows and adoption.
• Lead architectural debt remediation and long-term tech strategy.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps and guidance.
• Mentor engineers and promote RFCs to raise engineering craft.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering with leadership and architecture focus.
• Deep understanding of data engineering: SQL, PostgreSQL, ETL/ELT, BI tooling.
• 5+ years with Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, analytics, and business teams.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, reporting, and governance; dbt Semantic Layer.
• AI/ML-adjacent data work: RAG ingestion, embeddings, vector stores, data quality for AI models.
