Principal Detection and Response Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and develop custom security data pipelines and detections.
• Lead real-time incident response and threat investigations.
• Automate response workflows with scripts and playbooks.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, Engineering, Product, and Safety.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth.
• Scale security systems to protect Roblox assets.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Detection and/or Response.
• 4+ years in Security Data Engineering with streaming pipelines.
• SWE: build scalable, CI/CD deployed systems in C, Golang or Java.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR and SOAR.
• Incident response: structured processes and data-driven storytelling.
• Deep knowledge of networks, OS, cloud, containers.
