Principal Electrical Engineer, Avionics

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 2-3 engineers to deliver on schedule.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to design and test reliable avionics.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, validation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot electronic assemblies; define new processes and tools.
• Support flight hardware from concept through build, qualification, and flight ops.
• Help streamline builds to improve reliability of avionics hardware.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 12+ years in avionics design, analysis, or unit testing.
• 1+ years leading a team of engineers.
• Experience with avionics test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, current probes.
• Experience with analog, digital, or mixed-signal multi-layer PCB design.
