📋 Description

• Define and drive the long-term vision for indexing and retrieval infra.
• Lead cross-org efforts to modernize indexing for high-scale candidate generation.
• Partner with engineering, product, ML, and infra to align priorities and capabilities.
• Raise the technical bar with design reviews and platform changes.
• Build shared metrics, tuning surfaces, and debugging workflows.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders to uphold excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep expertise building large-scale indexing, search, and retrieval systems (real-time and incremental).
• Strong technical leadership across multiple teams with influence and stakeholder alignment.
• Proven track record modernizing systems at scale (converged architectures, migrations, shared platforms).
• Exceptional systems thinking linking platform design to product quality, ML needs, and health.
• Strong communication skills to distill complex topics for senior technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
