Partner with engineering teams on cross-team technical initiatives.
Contribute hands-on to critical technical efforts and infra projects.
Lead initiatives to improve reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and security.
Identify long-term opportunities and drive platform improvements.
Design and implement core solutions for Unit's platform.
Support evolution of Unit's engineering practices.

🎯 Requirements

10+ years designing, building, deploying, and operating large-scale microservices.
Strong reliability, scalability, performance, observability, cost efficiency, and security.
Cloud-based infra experience; AWS and Kubernetes are a plus.
Passion for high-quality software; Scala and FP ecosystems (ZIO, Cats, Scalaz).
Experience with event-driven architectures, Event Sourcing, CQRS, and DDD.
Excellent collaboration and communication across teams and disciplines.
