Principal Engineer - AI Platform

📋 Description

• Define AI platform architecture: retrieval, model lifecycle, evals, guardrails.
• Build the shared AI platform layer used by all AI features.
• Hands-on contributor: production AI systems and PoCs.
• Set technical standards; drive architecture and model reviews.
• Coordinate with Personalization to define GenAI vs ML infra boundaries.
• Lead cross-team technical decisions across multiple teams.

🎯 Requirements

• AI-driven SDLC with Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor for production systems.
• Architecture at scale: APIs, data pipelines, event-driven design.
• Cross-org leadership: drive standards and roadmaps across teams.
• Production AI platform experience: RAG pipelines, vector search, embeddings.
• MLOps: deployment, monitoring, lifecycle, cost governance.
• LLM evaluation: frameworks, metrics, prompt quality; agentic systems with LangChain.
