Principal Engineer – CPS DataValidation Platform (OmniShopper & Homescan)

📋 Description

• Own health, reliability, performance of the DataValidation platform.
• Serve as primary engineering escalation point for production incidents.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and remediation.
• Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational excellence.
• Establish and maintain operational KPIs, SLAs, and platform health metrics.
• Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for the DataValidation platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years in staff/principal engineer or architect roles.
• Experience owning mission-critical production systems.
• Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong hands-on Python experience.
• Oracle Database proficiency.
• Linux environments experience.
• SQL performance tuning expertise.
• Azure Data Services familiarity.
• PySpark experience.
• Parquet datasets and data engineering frameworks.
• Data quality and validation platforms knowledge.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration.
