Principal Engineer, Loads & Dynamics

📋 Description

• Own airframe loads development process and documentation
• Collaborate with loads interfaces (aero, airframe, engine, mass, mech, prop)
• Provide static and fatigue loads for downstream use
• Document loads assumptions for traceable analyses
• Support wind tunnel and flight test planning for loads
• Participate in FAA loads methods/compliance discussions

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• 10+ years loads analysis and downselection for air vehicles
• Structural analysis, strength, stability, fatigue knowledge
• Python and/or Matlab scripting
• Software development best practices and version control
• Experience in fast-paced design environment
