Principal Engineer, Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Define cloud networking architecture and standards across AWS, GCP, Azure, and internal
• Design and evolve routing, segmentation, firewalls, NAT, ingress/egress, DNS, VPN, private
• Lead technical direction for private-access technologies such as Tailscale, Headscale, WireGuard
• Establish SLOs, monitoring, alerting, recovery procedures, and operational standards for critical
• Lead diagnosis and mitigation of significant networking, connectivity, and infrastructure
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Python, Go, or

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience designing and operating complex production cloud networks in at least one major
• Strong knowledge of routing, subnetting, segmentation, firewalls, NAT, DNS, VPN, ingress/egress
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex production network and infrastructure failures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, or comparable
• Experience building infrastructure automation using Python, Go, or a comparable programming
• Strong SRE experience including observability, incident response, root-cause analysis, recovery
