Principal Engineer — Real-Time Data Systems

📋 Description

• Architect, design, and improve real-time data streaming systems with ultra-low latency.
• Lead core data infrastructure for real-time decision-making and personalization.
• Solve distributed systems, event processing, fault tolerance, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Design ultra-low-latency ingestion, distributed caching, deduplication, and large-scale event compute.
• Own major technical initiatives from concept to execution with quality and scalability.
• Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements across the data platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced in distributed systems, streaming, or event-driven architectures.
• Strong experience with Kafka, Flink, Pulsar, or similar real-time frameworks.
• Proven ability to build and operate low-latency, high-throughput systems at scale.
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure concepts: event processing, fault tolerance, scalability.
• Experience leading major technical initiatives and making architecture decisions in fast-moving environments.
• Strong programming fundamentals with product focus and cross-team collaboration.
