Principal Financial Analyst, Merchandising

📋 Description

• Act as a critical analytical partner to Merchandising and Category leadership teams
• Shape thinking on pricing, promotions, assortment, and category profitability
• Independently query and model large-scale datasets in Snowflake
• Build sophisticated PVM analyses and translate financial detail into recommendations
• Own financial rigor behind new SKU and assortment launches
• Evaluate marketing spend and incrementality

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience partnering with Merchandising, Category, or Commercial leadership in senior
• Hands-on expertise in Price, Volume, Mix (PVM) analysis, building PVM models from the ground up
• Extensive SQL expertise, writing complex queries against large transactional datasets (Snowflake or
• Track record owning end-to-end financial support for new SKU, brand, or assortment launches
• Experience evaluating marketing spend and incrementality
• Strong foundation in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Analytics
