Principal Forward Deployed Engineer

📋 Description

• Embed with customer teams to design, build, and ship production solutions from prototype to rollout.
• Deliver technical artifacts such as custom MCP servers, Docker Compose definitions, and hardened
• Integrate Docker's AI platform with client identity providers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability
• Scope and own technical delivery, sequencing work and unblocking progress.
• Translate security and compliance requirements into actionable adoption plans for agentic AI.
• Partner with Solutions Architects to enable standard solutions and escalate technical challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering experience with 4+ years in customer-facing technical roles.
• Expert production coding in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Docker: Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, networking, storage, and security.
• Production experience with LLMs and AI agents — tool use, MCP implementation, prompt engineering
• Working knowledge of software supply chain security: SBOMs, image signing, vulnerability
• Experience with enterprise identity (Okta, Entra ID, LDAP/AD), federation (OIDC, SAML), secrets
