Principal HL7 Integration Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead end-to-end HL7 integration projects across healthcare solutions.
• Serve as primary technical resource for complex integrations (EMR, PACS, RIS, VNA, LIS).
• Design and implement inbound, outbound, and bidirectional HL7 workflows with secure data exchange.
• Develop enterprise HL7 integrations including data migrations and interface development.
• Configure secure communications using TLS, VPNs, certificates, and encryption standards.
• Mentor peers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 6–8+ years HL7 integration experience in healthcare environments.
• Expert knowledge of HL7 v2 standards (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM).
• Strong understanding of DICOM, FHIR, and IHE interoperability.
• Hands-on experience with EMR, PACS, RIS, LIS, VNA integrations; Oracle/SQL Server.
• Interface engines such as Iguana, Rhapsody, Mirth Connect, Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Ensemble.
