Principal HPC Network Engineer (remote in the EU)

📋 Description

• Design HPC networks with InfiniBand focus.
• Troubleshoot InfiniBand and Ethernet issues for uptime.
• Manage InfiniBand switches, HCAs, subnet managers, fabrics.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for HPC networks.
• Implement security using Fortinet (FortiGate/ FortiManager/ FortiAnalyzer).
• Lead or contribute to upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in network engineering, focused on HPC or data centers.
• Hands-on InfiniBand tech (e.g., Mellanox/NVIDIA).
• TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, QoS, and network design.
• Experience deploying Fortinet (FortiGate/FortiManager/VPNs).
• Experience with network performance analysis and troubleshooting tools.
• Linux systems and scripting for automation (Bash, Python).
