Principal HPC Network Engineer (remote in the US)

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain HPC networks with InfiniBand fabrics.
• Troubleshoot InfiniBand and Ethernet issues to minimize downtime.
• Manage InfiniBand switches, HCAs, subnet managers, and fabric configs.
• Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning for HPC networks.
• Implement security using Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).
• Collaborate with compute/storage/platform teams to support HPC workloads.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in network engineering, focused on HPC/data center.
• Hands-on InfiniBand expertise (Mellanox/NVIDIA).
• Strong TCP/IP, routing (BGP/OSPF), VLANs, QoS, and network design.
• Fortinet deployment/troubleshooting (FortiGate, FortiManager, VPNs).
• Linux systems with Bash/Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with network performance analysis and troubleshooting tools.
