Principal - Licence Expansion

📋 Description

• Lead licensing strategy and regulatory engagement for each target market.
• Own licence applications and authorisation processes end-to-end.
• Operationalise licences with Compliance, Product, Finance, and Treasury.
• Establish local entities and hiring plans to meet regulatory obligations.
• Track budgets, risks, and timelines; report to Head of Global Expansion and senior leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–10 years in legal, regulatory compliance, or consulting in fintech/payments.
• Strong knowledge of stablecoin and digital asset regulation across APAC/EMEA/Americas.
• Proven experience managing cross-jurisdiction licensing or regulatory authorisation projects.
• Track record of operationalising regulatory requirements, not just advisory.
• Strong commercial awareness and project management skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, Finance, Treasury, and Commercial.
