Principal Machine Learning Engineer - Applied AI & LLMs (x/f/m)

📋 Description

• Own cross-team ML architecture from model selection to deployment
• Define adoption of rigorous evaluation across AI teams
• Establish shared production infra for AI: versioning, guardrails, observability
• Lead design of agentic solutions for product teams
• Partner with Product, Legal, and Compliance for safe EU rollout

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years ML/AI with 3+ years at Staff/Principal leading multi-team initiatives
• Deep expertise in two or more: clinical NLP, LLM fine-tuning/eval, ASR, RAG, or RL
• Expert in Python, PyTorch/Transformers for training and vLLM for inference on AWS/GCP
• PhD in CS/AI/Statistics or related field (or equivalent)
• Exceptional communication to align stakeholders and explain complex decisions
