Principal Mission Architect - SSC/Space Force

📋 Description

• Develop complete mission concepts based on customer needs
• Perform mission-level analysis and own top-level mission budgets
• Define requirements and design missions and payloads
• Use software tools or code for trade studies
• Evaluate spacecraft performance and constellation configuration
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to meet objectives

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. or higher in engineering plus 12 years space mission experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, coordination skills
• Spacecraft and space mission design experience
• Software skills in Python, Julia, Matlab, C, or C++
• Ability to travel to Mountain View facility
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
