Principal Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Tech Lead and architect for Roblox Backbone Network
• Plan growth for global production network to support user growth
• Design, deploy, and operate large-scale network infrastructure
• Collaborate with Tooling to automate workflows and telemetry
• Participate in on-call rotation to support the global network 24x7

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks
• 5+ years designing Backbone and Edge Networks
• Experience with BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE
• Working knowledge of TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS; IPv4/IPv6
• Experience in multi-vendor environment with hands-on networking hardware
• Python, Go, or C/C++ programming
