Principal Network Engineer

📋 Description

• Maintain network fabrics and topologies in Graphcore DCs housing AI servers.
• Collaborate with Network architecture team through design to deployment.
• Primary support for deployed internal fabrics in AI Datacenters.
• Direct escalation for hardware, link and performance issues.
• Escalation support for customer fabrics (aligned to reference arch.).
• Triage day-to-day network topologies in Graphcore Datacenters.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors/Master’s or equivalent in Network Eng/IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 9+ years hands-on network engineering; 3+ years in AI or hyperscale DCs.
• Knowledge of RDMA and ROCEv2 or InfiniBand.
• Knowledge of Lossless networks; congestion control, PDF, ECN, DCQCN.
• Experience with 400G and 800G networks; optical transceivers.
• Non-blocking, multi-tier CLOS networks (Spine/Leaf/Super-Spine).
