📋 Description

• Regulatory tracking: updates from IFSC, RBI, NPCI (UPI/BBPS)
• Translate circulars into clear requirements for teams
• Act as SPOC for IFSC, RBI, NPCI; represent the organization
• Manage customer and audit-driven escalations
• Lead compliance for Gift City PSP, TPAP onboarding, BBPS ops
• Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, training for audit readiness
• Drive internal and regulatory audits; prepare evidence
• Own regulatory reporting: returns, STRs, ombudsman escalations
• Oversee AML, fraud, sanctions, and operational risk across PSP/UPI/BBPS
• Triage issues; escalate incidents; respond to regulatory directives
• Identify risks; assess severity; work with teams on mitigations
• Partner with product, tech, ops, legal to embed compliance in design
• Drive alignment across teams; ensure compliance is built-in
• Engage regulators on policy and industry developments
• Participate in industry forums and working groups
• Build strong relationships with regulators and partners
• Identify emerging risks and best practices; Gift City ecosystem
• Act as on-ground problem solver for regulatory challenges

🎯 Requirements

• CA / CS / CMA / CFA or postgrad degree in finance, law, econ, business
• 5+ years in financial services (payments, banking, fintech, capital markets)
• 3+ years in compliance / regulatory / risk roles
• Hands-on with IFSC, RBI, NPCI regs (UPI, BBPS, PA/PPI)
• Exposure to Gift City/IFSC or PSP ecosystem a strong plus
• Certifications preferred: AML/CFT or other IFSC/RBI-recognized
• Must meet IFSC fit & proper criteria (integrity, competence, financial soundness)
