Principal Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, deploy, and maintain elastic GCP infrastructure with Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines for ML training, testing, deployment (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Airflow).
• Model monitoring: drift, latency, accuracy, and production health.
• Collaborate with data, ML, backend, and frontend teams for production ops.
• ML observability: track data drift, feature drift, and model performance.
• Deploy tools to empower teams to monitor their workloads.

🎯 Requirements

• 8-10+ years in DevOps/Platform Eng; 2+ yrs with production ML workloads.
• GCP and Kubernetes mastery: VPC-SC, IAM, GKE, Helm, ArgoCD.
• Istio and Kong: service mesh and API gateway expertise.
• Terraform with Atlantis/GitOps across large multi-file estate.
• Secrets/Identity: Auth0, Dex, ESO, or SOPS.
• Data/ML tooling: Airflow in production; ML serving (Triton/MLflow).
