Principal Product Designer

📋 Description

• Lead product design for complex initiatives across Figure Markets, while contributing to shared
• Take ambiguous or incomplete product requirements and turn them into coherent end-to-end
• Develop a deep understanding of financial concepts, customer workflows, business models, and
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering from early problem definition through implementation
• Explore multiple approaches to difficult problems, communicate tradeoffs clearly, and help teams
• Design sophisticated workflows, data-dense interfaces, account and transaction experiences

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including significant experience owning complex products or
• A portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, interaction design, and visual craft across
• A track record of solving complicated problems where requirements, customer needs, or the
• Strong systems thinking and an ability to understand how decisions in one part of a product affect
• Excellent interaction design skills, particularly for sophisticated workflows, data-heavy products
• Strong visual design fundamentals and a high bar for typography, hierarchy, layout, information
