Principal Product Manager, Telemetry Collection - Observability

📋 Description

• Product vision and roadmap for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, telemetry collectors
• Define KPIs: agent deployment success, pipeline efficiency, OTel adoption
• Oversee packaging, testing, distribution of Elastic Agent and EDOT
• Drive remote management for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, collector infra
• Kubernetes operator and Helm release strategy for agent framework
• OpenTelemetry as the primary data shipper across EDOT and OT Collector

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Product Management focusing on enterprise infra observability or telemetry
• Deep familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Elastic Agent, Filebeat/Beats, and Logstash
• Proven track record defining requirements for remote agent management and fleet control planes
• Kubernetes operators and Helm Charts; cloud-native orchestration and release mgmt
• IT Ops/DevOps/SRE or customer-facing solution architect background ideal
• OpenTelemetry standards, receivers/exporters, and OpenTelemetry Collector architectures
• Strong communication to translate complex architectures into business goals
• Distributed team experience
