Principal Product Manager, Telemetry Collection - Observability

📋 Description

• Product strategy & roadmap for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and telemetry collectors.
• Data-driven decisions: define KPIs for agent deployment, pipeline efficiency, and OTel adoption.
• Agent architecture & distribution: packaging and distribution of Elastic Agent and EDOT.
• Remote management & control: drive remote management for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and collectors at scale.
• Kubernetes management & releases: release strategy for cloud-native deployments via Kubernetes.
• OpenTelemetry & log shipping: advance OTel and log shipping across EDOT and OpenTelemetry.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in product management for enterprise observability/telemetry.
• Familiar with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems (OTel, Beats).
• Experience with remote agent management and fleet control planes.
• Kubernetes operators and Helm charts knowledge.
• Background in IT Ops/DevOps/SRE or customer-facing architect roles.
• Strong OpenTelemetry knowledge and upstream/downstream balance.
