Principal Product Manager, Telemetry Collection - Observability

📋 Description

• Define product vision, GTM, and roadmap for Elastic Agent and telemetry collectors.
• Data-driven decisions: KPIs for deployment success, pipeline efficiency, and OTel adoption.
• Agent architecture & distribution: packaging Elastic Agent and EDOT distributions.
• Remote mgmt & control for Elastic Agent, Fleet Server, and collectors.
• Kubernetes management & releases: strategy for Kubernetes operators and Helm charts.
• OpenTelemetry: guide OTel receivers/exporters across Elastic Agent and upstream.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Product Management focused on enterprise observability or telemetry.
• Familiar with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems (OTel, Elastic).
• Proven experience defining remote agent mgmt, fleet control planes, distributed edge.
• Kubernetes operators and Helm charts; cloud-native orchestration & releases.
• Experience in IT Ops/DevOps/SRE or customer-facing architect roles.
• Expertise in OpenTelemetry standards, receivers/exporters, and collectors.
