Principal Product Manager, Underwriting

📋 Description

• Own the Underwriting Engine platform end-to-end: rules, knowledge graph, and workbench tooling.
• Set strategy and drive execution with cross-functional partners across US, Singapore, and India.
• Lead long-term roadmap with Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance, and leadership to serve customers
• Champion a compliant AI/ML roadmap to improve accuracy, speed, and coverage.
• Own accountability for decision quality, fairness, and speed in underwriting.
• Collaborate across regulatory and data-heavy domains to ship high-impact decisions.

• Ability to translate platform capabilities to business stakeholders and engineers.
• Data-informed decision making; comfortable designing experiments and interpreting model outputs.
• Structured communicator; write strategy docs and present to senior leadership across time zones.
• Impact-driven prioritisation; focus on high-leverage investments in a complex domain.
• Technical credibility with rules engines, knowledge graphs, ML pipelines and decisioning systems.
