Principal Research Associate

📋 Description

• Design and run robust cell-based assays for screens and lead optimization.
• Culture, maintain and transfect mammalian cell lines; onboard new cell types.
• Assess RNA and protein readouts to study molecules in pipeline.
• Perform PCR, qPCR, automated Westerns (Jess/Leo), ELISA, and Western blot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and share experimental findings.
• Document experiments and SOPs in an electronic lab notebook (ELN).

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in biology-related field with 4+ years pharma/biotech exp.
• Hands-on experience growing and transfecting mammalian cell lines.
• Strong molecular/cell biology knowledge; primary hepatocytes preferred.
• Experience designing/executing molecular and cellular assays; ELN docs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to prioritize.
• Experience with automated Western blotting (Jess/Leo) and flow cytometry is a plus.
