📋 Description

• Define the roadmap for Inflection's realtime Voice AI stack (ASR, TTS).
• Use a 1000-GPU cluster for benchmarking and experiments.
• Decide build-vs-buy-vs-train for core audio and realtime components.
• Lead research on speech quality, naturalness, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with infra, product, design, and agentic AI teams to deploy voice agents.
• Develop evaluation systems for voice quality beyond standard metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Lead or serve as principal contributor in realtime voice or conversational AI in production.
• Experience with streaming ASR, TTS, speech-to-speech, LLMs, barge-in, or low-latency inference.
• Strong technical judgment in speech modeling and production systems.
• Define voice quality by user outcomes, not just offline metrics.
• Experience designing evaluation systems for real user experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
