Principal Research Scientist I - Analytical R&D

📋 Description

• Mentor, supervise, and develop a small team of PAT scientists
• Create and maintain an integrated PAT strategy for synthetic molecule programs
• Establish an effective operating model between PAT experts and project leads
• Lead PAT feasibility assessments, method/model development, validation, and technology transfer
• Apply chemometrics and multivariate data analysis
• Provide expert leadership in spectroscopic techniques (NIR, Raman, mid-IR/FTIR, UV-vis)

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry or related field
• 14 years (BS), 12 years (MS), or 6 years (Ph.D.) industry experience
• Expertise in Process Analytical Technology (PAT)
• Hands-on experience with chemometrics, multivariate calibration, and model validation
• Experience with Unscrambler, PLS_Toolbox, SIMCA, MATLAB, Python, R
• Experience in both drug substance and drug product environments
