Principal Research Scientist I/II Biologics Quality Control in Biologics Analytical R&D (all genders) (full-time, permanent)

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor scientists in separation-based assays (HPLC, capillary electrophoresis)
• Represent analytical in AbbVie CMC teams; support early-stage biologics
• Act as SME for analytical test methods; develop, execute, troubleshoot
• Evaluate analytical technologies; enable HTA; deliver high-quality results
• Prepare/review technical docs for early-stage programs; method transfer and batch release
• Collaborate across R&D and PDS&T; provide project guidance and risk management

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering or related field
• 8+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical setting
• Experience leading analytical development and QC for biologics (mAbs, conjugates, fusion proteins)
• Expertise in HPLC, capillary electrophoresis; MS and ELISA a plus
• Strong technical writing and regulatory documentation skills
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
