Principal Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement security patterns and automated guardrails
• Own complex security engineering initiatives through deployment and maintenance
• Mentor engineers, conduct design and code reviews, document architectures and runbooks
• Engineer least privilege, workload identity, segmentation, encryption, and secure data access
• Harden Windows/macOS endpoints, tune endpoint protection, automate Okta/JumpCloud identity and
• Embed threat modeling, API security, security testing, container image signing, policy enforcement

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant security, software, or infrastructure engineering experience
• Deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes security including IAM, workload identity, networking
• Knowledge of endpoint, identity, and SaaS security on Windows and macOS
• Experience with Okta, JumpCloud, or comparable platforms preferred
• Strong software and automation skills in Python or comparable language, experience with Terraform
• Experience building security platforms, telemetry pipelines, detections, and response automation
