Principal Security Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design and evolution of Axon’s Kubernetes platforms with platform teams
• Architect and provision secure AWS/Azure infrastructure using IaC
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with automated guardrails
• Mentor engineers and shape technical direction across teams
• Improve security observability with telemetry, logging, metrics, and alerts
• Partner with SRE/Platform Engineering to reduce toil and improve resilience

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in security/infra/SRE or related roles with technical leadership
• Expert Kubernetes experience in production environments
• Deep AWS and/or Azure expertise, IaC-focused (Terraform, Helm, GitOps)
• Strong software automation skills (Go, Python or similar)
• Experience with PKI and certificate management at scale
• Proven ability to lead complex security/incidents and drive action
