Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of complex, highly available services across the DNS
• Set technical direction and drive engineering best practices across multiple teams.
• Ensure services are scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-efficient.
• Lead design reviews, RFCs, and technical deep dives with high standards.
• Collaborate with Product Management to shape roadmaps and de-risk projects.
• Mentor Senior and Principal Engineers to improve design and operational excellence.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant industry software engineering experience at Senior/Principal level.
• Deep expertise in Java and/or Go backend services, REST/gRPC APIs.
• Strong cloud platform experience and data stores (relational/NoSQL).
• Solid understanding of DNS, networking, scalability, and HA concerns.
• Proven ability to design and evolve complex systems with clear trade-offs.
• Experience leading multi-team initiatives and communicating with stakeholders.
