Principal Software Engineer, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Design and build agentic AI systems for enterprise content workflows
• Own AI platform architecture and guardrails for safe multi-team shipping
• Build evaluation/observability for non-deterministic AI (reg tests, LLM-judge, prod monitoring)
• Drive model strategy: evaluate providers, optimize context windows, latency/cost tradeoffs
• Raise the AI engineering bar across the organization; coach engineers and build tooling
• Communicate complex tech to technical and non-technical audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Proven shipping of production agentic AI systems at scale
• Deep context engineering: retrieval, ranking, prompt orchestration
• Hands-on eval frameworks for non-deterministic AI (synthetic evals, LLM-judge, human-in-the-loop)
• Platform thinking to accelerate teams with abstractions
• 8+ years in distributed, data-intensive software
• Strong Python, Java, TypeScript; across the stack
