Principal Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the multi-year technical strategy for Lambda's networking software roadmap covering tools
• Set the technical direction and standards other engineers design, build and operate against.
• Own high-level technical relationships with enterprise customers, guiding mission-critical projects.
• Influence across teams applying high quality technical judgment.
• Resolve any technical ambiguity that spans organisational boundaries — between network, hardware
• Go deep when the hardest problems demand it — into the code, the network, the customer use case.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in relevant domains like cloud computing, systems engineering, and large-scale network
• Experience of design, build and operation of production large scale Data Center or Cloud networks.
• Experience building distributed network systems and services at scale. Experience of design, build
• Have led through implementation and launch of large production-scale software services projects.
• Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions.
• Fully and completely understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
