Principal Software Engineer: Distributed Systems (Config, Test, & Deployment)

📋 Description

• Own the coherence of a global platform: distributed KV storage, config delivery, and health checks.
• Write production code, design new systems, and review peers' proposals.
• Integrate LLMs into our processes and systems.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver Health Mediated Deployment initiatives.
• Senior IC role reporting to the Senior Director; drive safe changes.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience leading complex cross-team initiatives.
• Strong technical leadership and influence across multiple teams.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling high-volume, globally distributed software.
• Expert in at least one modern, strongly-typed programming language.
• Knowledge of API design standards, patterns and best practices.
• Experience working with top-tier LLMs to plan, write, test, and deploy software.
