📋 Description

• Architect the Snowflake Data Transformation Engine and core primitives for dynamic tables, streams
• Design low-level infrastructure for triggers and incremental processing to enable real-time agentic
• Drive system internals and set long-term roadmaps for stateful streaming and freshness-first
• Displace legacy orchestration layers by building native processing capabilities inside the
• Engineer for global scale with multi-tenant internals, security, and distributed consistency.
• Lead technical strategy for AI-era workloads and influence cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 14+ years of experience building database systems internals, distributed systems, or large-scale
• Strong technical leadership: architecting direction, mentoring engineers, and setting cross-product
• Mastery of systems programming: stateful streaming, incremental view maintenance, distributed
• Infrastructure-first mindset: systems builder who designs the engine over end-user pipelines.
• Distributed systems expertise in consensus, replication, and high-concurrency in cloud scale.
• Ecosystem awareness and ability to solve limitations of traditional tools through native design.
