📋 Description

• Own architectural decisions for Canva’s hybrid mobile platform across React Native, iOS and Android.
• Turn the architecture into shipped code with foundations for performance, reliability and
• Deliver a React Native surface in production within six months.
• Lead Staff and Senior engineers through migration to the new platform.
• Scale adoption across Canva and influence mobile architecture beyond your team.
• Remain hands-on with core implementation details while guiding others.

🎯 Requirements

• Cross-platform architecture at scale (React Native, React; Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform welcome).
• Experience migrating mature mobile products onto new architectures without downtime.
• Principal-level technical leadership across multiple teams.
• Influence architecture across organizational boundaries.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, complexity and system trade-offs.
