📋 Description

• Determine and own architectural strategy for Canva's hybrid mobile platform across iOS, Android
• Architect and drive technical direction across React Native, iOS, and Android, including decisions
• Deliver new platform into production within initial months, establishing foundations for
• Prove platform viability on a real product surface within six months, launching React Native in
• Lead senior engineers through architectural migration, serving as technical reference and mentor.
• Scale adoption of platform across multiple product teams, establishing patterns and best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in building or evolving large-scale cross-platform mobile architectures in production
• Demonstrated experience leading complex migrations of mature mobile products to new architecture
• Proven principal-level technical leadership, setting direction across multiple teams and guiding
• Track record of organization-wide influence and standard-setting.
• Strong proficiency in mobile runtime details, performance optimization, and system-level trade-offs.
• Solid understanding of iOS and Android native development and shared abstractions.
