Principal Software Engineer, Pricing Platform

📋 Description

• Define the cross-company technical vision and roadmap for the pricing platform
• Lead architectural evolution toward modular platform capabilities
• Design and improve Tier 0/Tier 1 services
• Partner with ML scientists on model production boundaries
• Balance competing engineering, ML, and product needs
• Clarify service and API ownership boundaries

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, Math or equivalent + 8+ years software engineering
• Track record of setting architecture for complex distributed systems
• Production proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience with Tier 0/Tier 1 services (latency, throughput, availability)
• Strong API, SOA, containerization, cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) skills
• Hands-on technical judgment from strategy to implementation
